- Graphics Card GPU: GeForce RTX 2080 ZOTAC GAMING AMP Extreme
- MotherBoard MoBo: ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming
- Memory: G.SKILL 24GB RAM
- Storage: 512GB SSD
- Power Supply PSU: 750W EVGA
- Case: Phanteks Evolv X RGB
- Windows 10 Home

PC2
Processor: Intel Core i7-9700K Coffee Lake 8-Core 3.6 GHz
Video Card: MSI GeForce RTX 2080 TI GAMING X TRIO Video Card
Mobo: ASUS Prime Z390-A LGA 1151 (300 Series) Intel Z390

Second one is a clear league ahead of the first, not just because of the 2080 TI card, but NVMe SSDs, etc.

Now that I'm looking at prices , PC2 almost seems like a scam.... Dudes are selling just 2080ti cards for like 80% of the price buddy wants for the whole pc

I think it will help if you say what you want to do. If you want to play Cyberpunk on max settings, 14.4, neither of those is going to do it.

That said, both of those look great to me, and both better than my own machine (Ryzen 5 6 core @3.6 , 16 Gig synchronous dram, MSI Radeon RX 580 DirectX 12 RX 580 ARMOR 8G OC 8GB, but then again I only play COD, Halo, Starcraft II, blah blah blah

Here is my real question: why don't you want to build it yourself? You don't have the time, or what?

Yeah 2 kids and a full work schedule. I basically have 1-2 hours of free time in the evenings to fill with my hobbies.. none of which include building a PC, loading windows, troubleshooting potential hardware issues etc. Just don't wanna go down that rabbit hole, ya dig?

I wanna play games. They don't have to run ultra high 4k or nothing like that. But i wanna be confident it'll serve me well for some years. I'll play Arma3 and xcom2 and other first person shooter type stuff.

yeah, PC2, but the phantek cases are top notch. been using them to build everything, plus 24gb of ram is ****ing weird. You could be looking at dram/timing mismatches.

If a 2080ti doesn't pan out what's a good alternative? Any AMD stuff worth putting on my radar?

I'm sure everyone has already told you, but allow me to pile on one more: If a chimp like me can build a working PC with the gayest fancy RGB lighting and whatnot, you can cordon yourself off in a room for 90 minutes and build a box the way you want it easily.

If you've narrowed it down to the 2 descriptions in your OP, PC2 is in a far better class than PC1. If the games you play have the same graphics load as the ones I play, PC2 will serve you for years.

My online enemy Lemon is pretty handy with PC hardware and you might run your builds by him and ask him what he thinks before you pull the trigger on anything.

Yes. x20

I actually deleted a response basically saying to either build it yourself(you cant unless you luck up on a new rtx) or quit being cheap and spend a little more money.

Dunno much about the 3070s as I had lucked out prior to them being released. But the 3080 FEs outperformed pretty much all the other original 3080 models. They run a little bit hotter, but you wont notice it at all.

All good except you want a terabyte of storage minimum. You can drive the cost down by putting windows on your SSD and getting a sata HD for your games and movies and whatnot, but it might be easier to just pay for a larger SSD that can hold windows and all your games. I say get that one but up the SSD to 1T

I can always add a traditional drive, they're cheap as ****.

Yeah this PC may be the way to go...
