I think he put Bolton on his team because Bolton is a warmonger, but that's where our agreement ends. Like almost everyone else in the Trump cabinet, Bolton found Trump to be frustratingly stupid, but unlike everyone else, he said it out loud. Of course he was going to get fired, and I think he kind of wanted to be fired, so he could peddle his book.

Don't get me wrong, I don't like Bolton either; he's not just hawkish, he really is a war-monger and intentionally got himself fired so he could write another "Hey I Worked With Trump And He's Monumentally Stupid" book, when we already have 20 books just like it from other former staff-members.
