Well I'm back... Not sure where everyone else was, but when the northeast was hit by a severe snowstorm I lost power Saturday the 30th. The circulation fan in my room went on just as I was going to bed to indicate the power is back on.

Tomorrow I will commence whatever admin duties I was doing on the minecraft server since my disappearance. Right after I knock down Lucky's lighthouse...

It's up to me, you should know if you fail to login before getting into the game then it won't work. That isn't the server's fault it is Notch's little login server thing.

I was logged in. It did go down for a few minutes. Map did not work ether.

Also:

Cant enter the nether anymore, fires don't spread, stargates still don't work.

Did something weird happen to the server? The grass/trees in my area have shifted colour (from green to more brown) like they're in a different biome now and the spawn has apparently moved to the middle of no where.

It's like everything shifted over.

Odd, nothing has happened as I know it.

As for the nether and gates, I need to bug some actual people for that. I have done all I can and it SHOULD work but for whatever reason it DOESN'T work.

Spawn has been reset to its original position, no idea why it changed. I will look into the stargate thing, but even when I do commands inside MC I get "permission denied". Over the weekend I will poke around hte bukkit forums for a solution and, barring that, just get rid of Essentials outright since that seems to be the one causing the issues with warps/SGs not being allowed to work.

If you HAVE NOT updated to 1.0.0 and stayed at 1.8.1 the server will still work. It hasn't been changed at all since the patch so should work if you didn't auto-update. If you did, then the server won't be working until bukkit updates their stuff.

Bump for an update. I updated the server to 1.0.0 by using the default 1.0.0 jar file and not the bukkit jar file. That means 1.0.0 can see/connect to it but it is running barebones without any plugins so nothing else outside that will work.

So I log in and I'm in the bottom of the TW tower. I immediately hear a slime spawn near me. Then two more on floors above me. Something must have turned them off, so we may want to look into that when we put bukkit back in.

Excellent. Actually it's probably more the clearing that was done on the levels above. Plus 1.9/1.0 makes it easier for slime to spawn (used to be level 16 or below, now it's level 40 or below).
