Cavendish To Ride Giro D'Italia, Tour De France And Vuelta In 2011 | Cyclingnews.com
3 grand tours is a lot of hard riding, i think he's overextending himself. sprinters have the ~easiest time maintaining "peak" fitness for a long time, but still... he's probably going to crash and have marginal results all season because of it. granted, because he is cavendish he'll still probably win ~6 stages in these 3 tours.

Exactly. Its not that they are flexible. I could look like that too but like you said you couldn't breath. I'd say its because their frames are smaller, not because they are more flexible.

flexibility is the deciding factor in how much power you can maintain in an aero position. frame size is relatively irrelevant because it is compensated for with a larger bike frame. your logic is perfect, it's just not the way time trial bikes end up working

I can't stop winning.
did a 45min interval @ 262w, 175bpm today
then bought a set of Zipp 101's with 2 Continental Grand Prix Attack tires.
weighed them in store at 1065g/1456g with the tires on. they're for racing only.
People say it's lonely at the top, but I sure like the view.

Boo @ flat bar bikes ;P
Get yourself something with drop bars yo.
Allez steel would be good for your weight/size and steel is a good ride.
Think they are like $700 normal and if she gets a decent dealer discount would be worth it.
I have the attack/force set of those tires Soup for racing and they are <3.

can i not request the handlebars be switched out? . other then looking a little funny, not sure it would be a problem would it? I wasn't really looking to go over 300, gave her what i plan on doing (trail riding...progress, pinellas) and a little road riding. I guess had i said 5-600 she might have mentioned that one?

i started with a riser bar (flat) then changed to some aero (think bull horns) then drops (ram horns). just ride man, its going to take a bit to get used to because its a different stimulus on your body but i betcha you will enjoy it more than running its fun to go fast hehe

yea. i plan on trying at least to get out twice a weekend and once a night. problem is i won't be able to get out until dark. not sure how the trails are when it's dark . At least the summer should allow me to start riding with light left.
