Since "today" was "yesterday," I did some yard work. Mowing (spool mower), trimmed stuff, cleared out underbrush, etc. Later I took a *****in' nap.
Today I'm pretty sure I'm not doing **** but might decide to go for a run depending what time the floor dudes are done.

It's going to be 74 and dry but windy here. I should really stop drinking coffee and go run before the wind kicks up but eh, I'm enjoying this.

Since I haven't run lately (like 3x in the past few months) I took it easy with ~5 miles (didn't wear the GPS but it was probably like 5.1-.3, I know the route decently well and had a couple little variations today) in ~38 minutes. The weather was PERFECT, about 65F, dry, sunny, no wind.
I ran past a 24 Hour Fitness and seeing people inside on treadmills made me both sad and angry.

nice job
as much as i hated today's weather it's going to get me prepared for summer so it's all good
gotta love people on a treadmill on a perfect day

What is wrong with those people? There's more to total fitness than just exercise.

the treadmill is safe, easy, and predictable
it offers a minimal challenge and gives people a sense of "satisfaction" when they're done
i suppose it is better than doing nothing

because I want to run on a treadmill that's why

Trail running: Stairway To Heaven loop (6miles), Copper Harbor, Michigan. Taking the ferry back to Kanuckistan tomorrow, probably 7 miles running tomorrow somewhere in Ontario. I'm not a fatass any more, but still about 15 pounds overweight. Running is still much easier now than when I first started.
