rangers have a chance imo....their PK is outstanding, and it negates one a huge weapon for the caps.
i still think caps in 6

and biron, he's shaky during the regular season, but he's a ****ing god amongst mortals during the playoffs.

I just got back from the Flyers vs Rangers game. Biron is just a horrible goalie. A backup at best. I would seriously be shocked if they made it out the first round regardless if they ended up against Carolina or Pitt. I would be shocked if they won 2 games.
Biron played decent last year. Godlike? please.... If it wasnt for a bad call, the Flyers would have been eliminated by the Capitals.

Yeah... I hate to agree, but I do. The caps defense is pretty bad, and Theodore is a mess. Him and Biron are competing for the worst goalie in the playoffs award. Green, Semin, Backstrom, and Ovechkin are just sick. But they are also very young. If the Rangers dont win, I would love to see the Caps win the cup. But they are very beatable. I thought the Flyers played very good against Ovechkin in last years playoffs.

congrats mr android#1 for winning the pool
i think these playoffs are going to be WILD... i think it's close to impossible to predict how these will turn out.
will carolina and pittsburgh keep their streaks going?
will new jersey play like they did after the allstar break?
will washington blast people apart in their "sophomore" year like pittsburgh did last year?
will detroit have the energy to compete?
will san jose choke as usual?
will the bruins play as good as their record suggests?
too many variables, this should be AMAZING
as for predictions, i doubt i'll do any better than choosing with a blindfold...

apparently you don't know who is playing in goal for detroit... or st. louis.
at least we know theo can turn it on and win a series by himself. he just hasn't done it more than once... which is more than i can say for chris mason or carey "i need a break in the playoffs because im a scared little boy" price.
biron has turned it up in the post-season too. until the games are played, you really can't count these guys out.

Those would not happen since that's not how the seeding works. Top seed always faces bottom seed. So it would look like this:
(1)Boston vs (6)Carolina
(2)Washington vs (4)Pittsburgh
(2)Deteroit vs (8)Anaheim
(3)Vancover vs (4)Chicago

They front-load their contracts, so it's very cheap to buy players out after a few years

Wow no Blues love. Get ready they have been hungry the last 2 months. I'd love to see our hot streak continue. Our series with Van. Could go either way. Should be a very good matchup.
