I've been using this for the past year or so, in combination with an LG G Watch. Google fit acts like a health data aggregator, so it can keep good records of your activity levels. It automatically turns on GPS when you're biking or running.

Deleted it. It's for casual fitness people or something. Strava is a lot better.
