They could have been holding back a lot of stuff...

..but I doubt it.

The thought of Minecraft being gold still freaks me out.

Well I will update the server tomorrow, bukkit hasn't updated anything but I do have the 1.0.0 server file. But of course it'll be "minimalist" in terms of any plugins.

where did the map go?

It is all still intact, it simply is 1.0.0 now so I have to wait for dynmap to update for it if it hasn't already.

My question is, where did the server go? I haven't been able to connect since 1.0 came out. I can telnet the address just fine, but I can't see the server in minecraft.

Bukkit hasn't updated, so it isn't compatible with the present 1.8.1 build that is on the server. I could update it, but it would be without bukkit or any plugins.
