Here's a Joe Biden thread to offset the Palin threads!

Um, benefiting politically from something that offers no net gain to poor people is a good thing? How does that hurt walmart? Please explain.

Walmart depresses the standard of living by paying very low wages with no benefits.
All those costs come back to haunt us in taxes.
They demand such low costs from suppliers the vendors have to then cut back.
It benefits Walmart and no one else.

If they closed it would be GOOD for the PEOPLE of the USA.

why would they close? What does anything we are talking about have to do with hurting walmart, much less closing them?

I don't understand people's misconception of corporate taxes. People still personify corporation's and it is ridiculous. Hey let's tax the shit out of the oil companies, because, you know, over 95% of their stockholders aren't institutional investments from MIDDLE CLASS 401k's

Okay, even if I were to accept all of those points, you didn't answer the question at all.

how do you think walmart kicks everyone else's ass? oh right, it's because they offer the lower class the basics of food and clothing at %50 or less then independent grocer's... who payed their employee's less, offered no benefit's and inflexible hours with little to no job mobility.

you have to admit, obama's plans do seem a bit on the 'magical' side.

(not that I endorse mccain's)

No one has an exact idea of how to fix the economy. Having said that, I tend to trust Obama, who worked to get where he is, and chooses to surround himself with intelligent economists. Obama's list of economist advisors is more impressive than McCain's.

I liked the old McCain, pre-election time. But I think it should be more than obvious that Palin was not a pick in order to govern the country; there are certainly more qualified candidates. In contrast, Biden with his foreign policy experience, is.

On taxes, think about it. It's election time. Any and every candidate is going to say that he will cut taxes; it's not a novel idea and it sells to the people. Obama is likely to spend lots of money on non-military related issues to solve them; McCain, likely, not so much. However, Iraq is throwing billions down the drain.

So, if we eventually "solve" Iraq, let's say, in 2 years, which is certainly the earliest we could even fathom to be done, then what? The world isn't going to hold us in very much higher esteem. It's still a net loss.

1) Obama's economists > McCain's economists
2) Biden > Palin
3) Obama and economy isn't so bad compared to McCain, Iraq, and economy

These are decisions that have been made during the election time, and in each one of the three, Obama's have been better than McCain's. He's got my vote for that (though I do applaud McCain for standing up against the voiced racists in his rallies, as opposed to Palin).

Yes, but one candidate makes tax cuts a typical class warfare issue and disguises welfare as tax cuts while making the "rich" pay their "fair share." So it's not really fair to compare the two as apples to apples.

So you're saying that these government programs that subsidize walmart's unacceptable businesses practices should be ended to encourage a more free market? Right? ;)

Man, I cannot stand Walmart.
Subsidies?
Fuck Sam in the poop chute.

Both of my brothers moved up to management and made well into the 6 figures before they hit 30... I seriously think that's a load of shit. Just because some menial jobs pay well doesn't mean they all have to, it's absurd to pay a mongoloid $15/hour to fucking push a couple buttons that any but Helen Keller could do.

I'll just leave this here for your scrutiny

We either pull out, or stay and make the sand niggers pay us back for all the money we spent. Wait, they're still to busy bombing each other to even want a true government... So yes, pull out.

Yeah, they really owe us. We did them a solid.

Just speaking the truth. Prove me wrong.

Your brilliant logic is insurmountable! I cannot prove that people who dislike Obama are not racist rednecks, therefore it must be true. The burden of evidence is upon me and I fold. Long live Obama!

So it's logical to choose McCain/Palin over Obama/Biden? I'd like to see you explain that. Without calling Obama a nigger, secret muslim, or lying about his policies. You can't do it.
