I can only stand so much mortaring/strikes before I just have to take a break and play capture and hold or something.

defense really gets the shaft

the high level pub games are atrocious, mainly as a consequence of being 16v16

both teams will usually have a 10-12 person D stack with at least 2 snipers

then each 4-6 man uncoordinated offense runs into a meat grinder over and over as the defenders all try to KS each other

it really is worse

its so telling about how theyve approached balance

mabel suggested something like low level pubs being 16v16, mid level 10 v 10 and high level 7 v 7...something like that would work, but i'm sure lots of terribles would complain once they reached high level.

if they are going to leave strikes in the game, maybe they should switch to call of duty kill-streak style...where you have to be on a kill streak before you can actually use them (i can't believe i am suggesting this....but not sure of any other way that would still make them fun for pubbies to use)

that'd be cool. idk about pubs being 7v7 though. would never be able to fill out the roles unless tons of good people were playing. I'm thinking 16v16, 13v13 and 10v10 maybe, or 16v16, 14v14 and 12v12.

10s are probably the right size to get decent gameplay without relying on voice coms to coordinate everything

i tried out t1. great game, love lt, but as soon as PUGs started, pubs ended and i knew i wouldn't get to play for rest of night so i stop coming. ;(

They're terrible for liking to play the game a certain way. It's this elitist **** that ruined all the other games. How dare they have an opinion when they aren't in a competitive team! Ban them!

And Mabel's idea is interesting, but pub games are there to entertain. 7v7 in a pub match would be dull as ****. You/He are living in a fantasy world if you believe any requests you give to other players in a pub to play a certain role wouldn't be responded to with '**** a faghole dickcocker"

Also, this leaves it more open to trolling. All it would take is one person dicking around doing nothing to ruin an entire match.
