Very first hand in a tourney yesterday I get KK, I have 200 big blinds. I raise to 250 (2.5X) in mid position. Matey in Big blind pops it up to 900. Back to me I make it 3200, he calls. Flop QQ2. Ah well if he has a Q I can rebuy. I bet half pot, he calls. Turn is a 3. No flush draws out there. I bet half pot, he calls. River is a 6. I bet, he shoves, I call. Of course he had 66 FFS.
Yah. Fucking game.
I watched Daniel Negreanu's Master Class on Poker a few days ago.
Pretty good for a basic overview. It was fun to hear him talk candidly about dithering his range etc.

I subscribe to Masterclass for the year. I find it has some really nice content across a broad range of subjects. So, instead of watching documentaries, etc - I'll pop on a Masterclass once in awhile. That one has 38 parts and over 7 hours of content.

I just won a big hand where we both flopped a set that turned into a boat. I can't tell you how many times I've lost one just like that.
