2 weeks booked in November for WSOP and Venetian Deepstacks. Only ever done a week before but now I'm retired so might as well go large if my liver can cope.

Was just there three weeks ago. Sad to hear the mask mandates are coming back. My buddy got box suite tix to Garth Brooks at the new Raiders Stadium. Not a country fan, but, he put on a good show. Went and saw Dave Chapelle and Joe Rogan at MGM Grand. Was at the Venetian gambling and saw four dudes put in $25 on a WOF game and got a spin. Won 10K. boom.

Went and saw this guy at Mirage. Highly recommend it.

None of them have been comparable to Las Vegas, the most wretched, miserable, servile, pathetic trash, that has ever been shat into civilisation.

You could come visit Teton National Park, Glacier National Park, you could run a race in Manhattan or Colorado.. you could do so many different things, but you choose to visit the toilet of toilets. I suppose it speaks to the reason we both continue here.

I just go to play the biggest live poker tournaments in the world. And drink too much, obvs. I kinda get where you are on Vegas, it's full of scum, but the poker is worth it. Starting to wonder if I can really handle 2 weeks though when every day will start with 2 or 3 strong Spicy Marys with breakfast and just go on from there.

The consistency of opus/anejos and most higher end Fuentes shits all over anything from Cuba. When cuba really wants to make a good cigar, they’re unmatched, but it’s frustrating to get half a box of plugged cigars.

The 50th anniversary humidor release Padrons are generally worth the price at around $40-50, but not much more than that. Saka’s Dunbarton Sin Compromiso are good too. Joya de Nicaragua Numero Uno is killer cigar with some history.

Gonna play a massive $800 buy-in at the Rio WSOP, then a few at Venetian, probably finish off with an $1100 or $1600 buy-in at Venetian, which is the one I won back in 2014. Poker budget is a bit tighter now I'm retired, worse case I'll spunk 10k.
 
If I had to go to Las Vegas again I'd get an air b&b away from things and buy a lot of fireworks.

I have not been to Vegas but I did have to visit Reno on business. I drove through beautiful Lake Tahoe and then boom, all the sudden just brown. Nothing. I looked behind me and saw the tree line and was like what the fuck. Got to Reno and got out of my car... sulfur. That's all that it smelled like. I couldn't get that smell out of my nose for days. And sirens everywhere. Checked into my hotel at around 6pm and hung out for a bit. There was a bar down the road I saw on google maps so I thought I'd go see what's up. Walked out of the casino and there was like 20 cop cars doing whatever the fuck. I decided the 10 minute walk up the road at night wasn't worth it and went back to my room.

It was at that moment that all the things i've experienced in Nevada made me realize it sucks. Fuck that state.

I agree except I believe Hollywood blvd is worst most disgusting place with Las Vegas 2nd.
