Yep - I'm with you on that one. I might get a shot at some point, just not now. Maybe GenII or 3 depending. In the meantime, they sure put the hammer down on anything new. Like Molnupiravir. Which, seems to have had the brakes applied. Almost as if Merk was told when to plan the release for. Like, 2022 or 3.

My belief is that if it is needed, they are ready to pump the shit out like water. But, due to the desire to shoot everyone up with liquid it is felt this would be a distraction. Just me, though. What do I know.

KENILWORTH, N.J. & MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE) July 12, 2021 -- Merck (NYSE: MRK), known as MSD outside the United States and Canada, and Ridgeback Biotherapeutics announced today the presentation of previously announced Phase 2 interim results from two Phase 2/3 clinical trials (MOVe-OUT and MOVe-IN) of molnupiravir (MK-4482/EIDD-2801), an investigational oral antiviral therapeutic. The data were presented during the late-breaking clinical trials session at the European Congress of Clinical Microbiology & Infectious Diseases (ECCMID). The Phase 3 portion of the global MOVe-OUT trial studying molnupiravir in non-hospitalized adult patients with laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 and at least one risk factor associated with poor disease outcomes is underway. In addition, Merck plans to initiate a clinical program to evaluate molnupiravir for post-exposure prophylaxis in the second half of 2021.

My wife got her second Pfizer a few days ago and has been really sick since then (fever + whatnot). The lymph glands in her armpits have now swollen so large she can hardly lower her arms and is in a lot of pain. That shit has fucked her up, no question.

Hoping it tones down by tomorrow or it's off to the hospital.

I was booked in for next week but I might cancel having seen this, I've never seen her so sick in the 25+yrs we have been together.
