Several weeks ago the sky was yellow. Well, it was a dark red for several hours, then it changed to yellow later in the evening.

You can stipulate that consciousness is a manifestation of physical processes. Our shared consciousness, our abstractions and ideas and our perception of the reality around us, is not physical.
Humans across all times and civilizations developed remarkably similar belief systems independently of each other. If you don't find that borderline miraculous and worthy of exploring on a philosophical level so be it.
It's certainly by no means proof of some physical deity at all, nor should it be construed as an effort to that goal.

Same for me when I was little. The church has been part of the USA all these years. The flaw is the stories of the bible have nothing to do with modern times. They are fairy tale stories, which the pastor uses to show the power of God. They represent a land that has nothing to do with the USA. Yet people go to Church to hear the stories. They tide money and give their time out of guilt. Doesn't stop the riots and violence happening today. So what good does preaching stories from 2k years ago matter? Oh, it's a test, a challenge from god, his way. Right.

Thanks. I can take it one step further. There are religions started in the USA, but most are whacked, jokes, or cults.
List of religious movements that began in the United States - Wikipedia
Look at the religions of the 21st Century, they are jokes. Needs to be a new book that teaches common sense, morals, and history of the USA so kids follow it.

The only thing I asked you is to explain why you believe the things you say.
That you find this a stupid question shows how little you care about truth. Once again,

He was paraphrasing mark twain. But you are an idiot and think ricky gervais could have such an epiphany.

The US actually DOES have their own religion.
It's called secular humanism.
(But one could still argue that this isnt uniquely a USA thing.)
