Microsoft Privacy Statement – Microsoft privacy
Finally, we will access, transfer, disclose, and preserve personal data, including your content (such as the content of your emails in Outlook.com, or files in private folders on OneDrive), when we have a good faith belief that doing so is necessary to: protect the rights or property of Microsoft, including enforcing the terms governing the use of the services – however, if we receive information indicating that someone is using our services to traffic in stolen intellectual or physical property of Microsoft, we will not inspect a customer’s private content ourselves, but we may refer the matter to law enforcement.

Has anyone tried this yet? Sounds intriguing.
Download - AME

Windows 10 AME aims at delivering a stable, non-intrusive yet fully functional build of Windows 10 to anyone, who requires the Windows operating system natively. Spyware systems, which are abundant in Windows 10 by default, have not been disabled using group policy, registry entries or various other workarounds – they have been entirely removed and deleted from the system, on an executable-level. This includes Windows Update, and any related services intended to re-patch the system via what is essentially a universal backdoor. Core applications, such as the included Edge web-browser, Windows Media Player, Cortana, as well as any appx applications, have also been successfully eliminated. The total size of removed files is about 2 GB.

Great effort has been invested in maintaining the subsequent system’s stability, bug-free operation and user experience, as many of these removed services conflict with core Windows 10 features.

Dear Microsoft,

I download conspiracy videos, talk shit about the ruling class, love Tessa Fowler and occasionally like watching a girl gag on someones mule.

Sincerely,

If you are going to do anything illegal or start a revolution, probably shouldn't do it on a PC connected to the internet...

National Democratic Capitalism
means capitalism that is subservient to democracy
capitalism with rules should not do business with criminal organizations and oligarchies
in fact, we should war against them

Capitalism controlled by Patriotism

Seriously. My windows 7 machine will list a directory across the network faster than the windows 10 machine the directory is actually on..

It has gotten so bad that we have just decided to not create anything at work anymore, Chinese and MS will just steal it anyway.

We no longer even discuss work b/c all our phones are listening full time as well.

Ok why is this surprising? You're storing data on their server... if this policy was written any other way they'd be liars. If the data lives on their server then clearly they have to access it, transfer it, preserve it, and when required by law (or consent via agreement) disclose it.

They have been pushing an update to convert your local account to a microsoft account so they will have more access to your data. I just converted mine back to a local account after they update. I'm not sure it matters much though.

Even your OS is a pile of rusty old shit, je suis tres shocked

Sorry to shatter your delusions of adequacy but Microsoft don't give 2 fucks about the life of a trailer dwelling hick who's idea of fun is dicking around with busted up golf carts. It's not of huge national significance, surprisingly. DERP.

I've heard that typewriters are making a comeback in certain areas of work/employment.

neat concept but apparently windows update is totally broken on it and u have to jump thru crazy hoops to get updates

but back to the original point..don't make a MS login and turn off all those fuckin options when windows first comes up.

Nice, a control panel for all the buried settings. Super simple. Thanks.

Pretty much.
Go over each setting carefully, there are some you may not want to disable.
Be sure to update it, make a restore point, and reapply after every update.
