Kyle Lowry is set to undergo wrist surgery to remove loose bodies from his right wrist, and he's aiming to return for the playoffs.

We'll have an official timetable once Lowry goes under the knife on Tuesday, so we'd wait on that before making any rash decisions with Lowry, but Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting he could be out 4-5 weeks. In the meantime, Corey Joseph is locked in as Toronto's starting point guard, and with averages of 19.3 points, 5.3 dimes and 1.3 steals in three starts this season, he's worth a look in most leagues. DeMar DeRozan is also going to be incredibly busy on offense sans Lowry.

Kevin Durant has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 MCL sprain and tibial bone bruise, and he will be "out of action indefinitely" and re-evaluated in four weeks.

Both Chandler Parsons and Andrew Bogut were forced into lengthy absences earlier this season with knee bone bruises, and with Durant also dealing with an MCL sprain, it's likely he'll miss a good amount of time with this injury. The Dubs are reporting that there's a chance KD may be able to return to the court towards the end of the regular season, but they won't put an official timetable on his return, so owners in standard leagues without an IR-spot need to seriously consider cutting him. With Durant off the floor, Draymond Green, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson will see a sizeable increase to their respective usage rates, and guys like Andre Iguodala and Matt Barnes (once signed) will help fill the void at SF.

suicide watch now in a holding pattern

though the possible scenario of taking down lebron w/o KD is mighty delicious

also somehow resigned the one guy who chiefs more than klay for some delicious We Believe magic
