Post your rigs, TW!!

Just picked this up tonight:

attachment.php

Since my move to California, I haven't had a chance to have anything but my Fender Jazz shipped out. I've started playing recently and needed a rig.

Anvil 4 Space Flight Case
Peavey Pro 500 head (tube pre, solid state power)
Peavey 1 x 15 (salvaged from old combo)
Carvin BR 410
Korg DTR2

$400 -- not bad.

Plus, my plan is to ship out my Eden Wt-300 head in my 4 space rack w/power conditioner, remove the power conditioner and Eden head, add it to the Anvil flight case, put the Pro 500 head in my old rack case and sell it with the Peavey 1x15" for like $300.

For the single mini humbucker, I couldn't believe the tonal range. It's got great lows and just by using the tone knob with no settings changed on my amp, it's got a pretty impressive punch.

It's listed at $249 but I talked to the guy at Guitar Center who my friend and I have gotten great deals from and he gave it to me for $199.

I've been using it with my Big Muff pedal and it sounds pretty cool. Definitely happy with it.

I just sold an AD30 to a buddy of mine. He loves it for black keys, black sabbath and classic rock stuff.

I also have a pedal I have made off of the OR120 schematic. It does a good job of replicating the orange sound.

Mine is almost complete. I've been working on it slowly over about 2 years or so. Some of the gear I've had for a while. Building on a budget like everyone else.

I've got some hardware signal processing stuff yet to purchase, need a few things to complete my bass rig, and I'm starting from scratch on my guitar rig.

What are you recording?

and
What are you recording?

I am re-recording a bunch of my old stuff as well as my new stuff. I've spent the last 3 years transfering over 1,000 songs and bits from 108-90 minute casette tapes that were recorded on my 4-track between 1987 and 1995. Since 1995 I've written 213 complete songs that have never been recorded. I was married in 1992 and my first child arrived in 1995 so do the math there on what happened to music output. :p:

I'm just a hermit that likes to compose but never really tried to sell it nor liked to play live until the last few years. I'd like to maybe do music for TV? Movies? Commercials? I have loads of complete songs but I can bang out 30 second-2/3 minute bits pretty easily. Just going to get some of it out there and see what happens. At 43 rock star is out of the question so maybe something else. At the very least play some clubs and have fun.

I'd eventually like to record others and even some remote colab stuff. I've really just started to get back into it over the last 2-3 years so I'm still playing catchup a bit.

43? I turn 43 in a couple of months. And I toured last summer, at least doing the weekend warrior thing a couple of times a month.

The wife does commercial voiceover work professionally, and I'm her engineer at night. We also do commercial music a bit

Oh, and for the record: Since we're now posting lists of gear instead of individual rigs....I made this inventory last year when we went commercial. I included the price paid and replacement cost too just for kicks, and by the time I got done I made a panicked call to my insurance agent to make sure I was covered.

No, I just keep it updated.

I was messing around with some of the new features last night and it's pretty cool. In particular I was trying out audio quantizing with drums, and while it sort of works, it's buggy. Not sure if it's the group edit function that's wonky or quantizing itself. It sort of worked but wouldn't slice all the tracks.

The new amp rack sounds fucking awesome. Better than Guitar Rig, that's for sure.

Just picked up a Douglas Pisces TS from RondoMusic:

Gonna prob put a GFS Lil Killer Strat Pickup in it. Supposedly it makes it sound great. I'm also going to reshape the headstock to resemble that of a telecaster neck. :)

Oh and I'll be picking this up next week since we have a bunch of shows coming up and a decent amount of traveling. Ampeg Portaflex PF-500 with the PF210HE:

Pictured is the PF115HE cab but it looks identical.
