I still highly doubt the 125mph trap speed. 13.2 I have no problem with.
You have to make a ton of HP to turn that kind of trap speed.

He'd probably need about 450whp to trap that... ??

Similar Chevrolet Cobalt 1/4 mile timeslips to browse:
* 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt SS: 14.395 @ 98.170 in the 1/4 mile
* 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt ss: 14.130 @ 102.230 in the 1/4 mile
* 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt LS: 15.881 @ 86.790 in the 1/4 mile
* 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt SS Turbocharged: 14.231 @ 102.510 in the 1/4 mile
* 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt SS SC: 14.108 @ 100.730 in the 1/4 mile
Some with stage 2 ECU and stage 3 pulley.
125 is bs

I agree.
My friends Mallet Vette has about 420whp and his traps
are around 116-118. He's chasing some problems though.

I always knew Valleyman was full of ****, because I trolled him hard back in the day when he was a member, then he left and came back 3 years later and was acting like he was someone different.

125 for that SS is complete bull****. The fastest Cobalt I've seen with timeslips is 114.90 and it's one of the most well respected tuners on the Cobalt forums. 125 on stage 2 is a ridiculous claim. The time is fine as I've seen some Cobalts down in the 12's.

The 7 series pic is quite obviously something official or a press pic... and it has a euro plate on it. Its not like you need a google find to confirm it.
Either he's just using google photos because he doesn't care to take pics of his actual cars, or he's full of it. Either way, who cares.

This thread is now about a Cavalier SS trapping 125mph but only mustering mid 13s in the 1/4.

Do you have any posts where you aren't trying to show how much cooler you think you are than everyone else?

Wow... you just can't admit that Chevy has a winner. I'm leaving it at that.

The new Cobalts are damn nice cars for what they are. They run with cars that are a couple classes above them.

Huh? Are you under the impression that I don't like Chevy or something?
I don't know anything about the new crop of FWD 'popular tuner' cars... Im sure the Cobalt is just fine. All Im saying is that he's either full of **** about his trap speed or that something is really wrong with his car. Whats so hard to understand?
What kind of car traps 125 and only does 13.5???
