I was looking for usb wireless networking card with an antenna and noticed the strangest thing. The store has a Hawking Technologies one that was for windows for 39 and one that was for OS X for 44. The only noticeable difference aside from price was that one was grey and one was white. I picked up the windows version and went home and yes, it ended up just being a driver. Nothing else. What was a more surprising though is that Hawking Technologies wasn't even selling/provinding a driver they developed. They were using another companies that just give the drive away.

Just thought I'd share.

Apple may charge a licensing fee in order to be 'approved' hardware or some shit. They're pretty evil when it comes to this stuff.

Wait.

Is Stits just discovering that one pays more simply because the word "Apple" is on the box?
