Actually most of those jobs are salaried including accountants and lawyers, and most higher end managers. Bragging about an hourly salary is laughable for the most part with a few exceptions.

Blockbuster is a job. Retail management can be a career, if you're so inclined. I'm not, but it's a convenient stop to pay the rent while I go back to school.

The logic? the logic is that "i've never heard of anyone working IT who wasn't a self righteous pathetic little bitter misanthropic twat." so clearly that's not the right field for me.

The last I recall was TribalCareerGoal agonizing over making the switch between Blockbuster and working for 7-11 :shrug:

Then just from watching him talk, I assumed burger-flipping really wasn't that far off the mark...

And considering that today he proclaimed that working at Blockbuster was preferable to working in I.T.... well.... I'm gonna have to stick with burger flipping.

:shrug: was just being truthful, wasn't always a christian. I've done my fair share of stuff, going to strip clubs was one of them.
