while playing tribesFTW in 1024x7xx resolution i get terrible fps running a 3ghz pent4, 1 gig ram, and a radeon x850Pro 256mb card. This is especially noticable when outside. it's like watching a slideshow why are my fps like 20ish etc in trives? I just updated to the newest video card...

For the longest time, i have been running and oldish version of viking hud (viking31) and it has always been noticably choppy, but not terrible. I ended up shaking it off for a long time not realizing if it was tribes, or my config. I do have vsync set to off, but i have tried turning it on...
