Now they are talking about the 88,000 number again. They are saying it's a real number coming out of the Kyoto News Service.

EL O EL! glad the plants are safe, but a phase 3 reactor doesnt really leak anyway. Concrete domes and what. im interested in hearing more about a) the size of wave in Japan and how far it went in, b) what towns got 'washed away' c) death tolls d) fire spread in japan |
man 1 town flooded the entire 130 million people in the country are going to be ****ed forever
edit: less than 2000 people died when katrina completely buried New Orleans how long did it take before they were completely rebuilt? less than a year? and thats with lazy ******s and retarded louisiana natives living there. |
Kyodo News
Didn't sign up but some of their headlines: *Death toll from powerful Japan quake likely to top 1,000 *URGENT: Radiation level rising in Fukushima nuclear plant turbine building *URGENT: 1,800 homes destroyed in Minamisoma, Fukushima Pref. |
CNN reported that there are no reports of Americans injured or dead. I find that shocking.
|
Guys LGBR lived there before he went all crazy or emo or whatever and came back. He totally knows exactly what's going on there because he lived there. Ok? Geez.
|
and people still think im less annoying than you
|
Americans are taller so they have more shock absorbtion

Guys I live in japan please listen to me

Sigh. Obviously it won't be the same for the small towns and what, one city, that got obliterated. Point is, Japans infrastructure has not collapsed, and everything will be back to somewhat normal within weeks if not days unless further aftershocks cause unforeseen damage. Yes, it will be difficult over there. But it will not be another Haiti.
What I hate most about forum discussions is when people only talk about absolutes. World ain't black and white. |
also they can survive raising water for longer

As of last year there were around 40,000 residences in NO that were still abandoned/uninhabitable. **** still ain't back to what it was six years after the fact. |

So I wake up to this news today. This afternoon, our Japanese-owned company and perhaps 30 guests (all from Japan) are set to celebrate our anniversary with a harbor cruise. This is going to be fantastic.

reading comprehension would serve you well. the point people were making was that it won't be back to normal in a few days for the towns that were hit. i'm not sure anyone said that the entire country is doomed. |
And the sheep are none the wiser!!
LOL LGBR is butthurt that I neg repped him for broadcasting his stupidity. Prepare for 8.9 magnitude anus quake. |
Does anyone else love it when natural disasters strike? The bigger the better. It's not the death I like, it's just the whole vibe I get from them. Hard to explain.
