Maybe you should ask yourself the opposite question... Why are people blowing this so far out of proportion?

And what reality would that be Golbez?

I am sitting 200 miles from the Fukushima power plant right now the power has not even gone out yet. It was a warm and beautiful day today with crisp clean air and a gentle breeze.

Maybe it's your precious bubble of make-believe fear and terror that we should turn this discussion toward?

I will let you know when I grow a third nipple, until then maybe you should relax and not get carried away with yourself.

Yes, this disaster is terrible, but life goes on...

Was that from this morning's aftershock? That one creeped me out a bit. I was right about to run out of my building when it stopped.

I am only 30 minutes away from you. Are the quakes really hitting that much harder over there?

[Golbez-RG-] 03-14-2011 04:54

Why dont you go walk within 20km of the plant and find out what the reality of the situation is? You'll be our TW eye-witness reporter. 200km is a pretty safe distance, and I never said that it wasn't, only in the case of loss of containment would you have to begin to worry.

I don't need to, because I have you to tell me what the reality of it already is yeah?

[Golbez-RG-] 03-14-2011 05:13

So what's the issue then? It's not our fault the Japanese (Or even the US) didn't consider the implications of building a nuclear reactor plant on a tsunami beach.

GL to you and hope you get out with your life and all, but you don't have to be such a little ***** about it to us.

The media is being ridiculous and disgusting.

[Golbez-RG-] 03-14-2011 05:43

About what exactly? I've never said it's going to turn into Hiroshima, that was your wild accusation. I highly doubt the Japanese would have poured billions into a reactor plant that was going to get owned by a tsunami though, that's just ridiculous in itself if they had actually considered it.

I never made any wild accusations about you. I made a very rational and accurate one.

You lumped me in a group of people that "want to live in their precious worry free bubble and not face the harsh facts of reality".

I am waking you up to the fact that you know nothing about the current reality in Japan and your statement was completely wrong.

That is all.

[Golbez-RG-] 03-14-2011 06:35

So what exactly was I wrong about? I'm still waiting... I never said anything about you before you tried to call me out for something that I said but have yet to tell me exactly what it is other than trying to start random bull****. If you thought I tried to lump you into something that was your own assumption. I was referring to Goshin who is trying to say the plant isn't radioactive right now and everything is hunky dory over there.

[Golbez-RG-] 03-14-2011 06:42

I would personally think that if you're in the middle of one of the most major quake zones in the past 100 years that you'd have something better to do than troll TW on assumptions not even directed toward yourself.

I'm not sure how to spell it out any clearer man.

People who are downplaying this and remaining positive about it are not people that "want to stay in precious worry free bubbles in life and not face the harsh facts of reality".

That is what you are wrong about.

I believe that people who try to start random bull**** tell others to walk towards failing nuclear plants, or call them "little *****es", or tell them that "It's not America's fault that the plant got hit by a tsunami" when it has nothing to do with anything that was said.

I have been very specific with my words...

If you don't like mine, listen to this guy.

This is probably one of the more botched stories in recent media history. What they should be doing is touting it as a triumph of engineering. The fact is you have an earthquake an order of magnitude beyond design safety spec, a massive tsunami, and basically everything going wrong short of Godzilla stepping on the plant! Despite all of that, the danger is entirely contained and likely a nonissue.

Instead you have a tremendous amount of BS about how unsafe nuclear power plants are.

You didn't walk toward the reactor because you know there is a serious situation there that could possibly turn catastrophic, that's obvious and given, and goes with what I've been saying all along.

You took a statement that had nothing to do with yourself personally and are lashing out because you're an *******.

If you really are in a quake zone that bubble obviously doesn't apply to you, but this does prove how much of a dedicated ******* you are to lash out at people on a forum 1000s of miles away not even talking about you during the middle of one of the worst catastrophes of the last century.

because to support japan we simply buy anime/ps3's, haiti didn't produce anything other than witchcraft and you need to know the right people to support them

You are off-topic, overtly hostile, and you are the one taking this personally.

I am probably typing this from one of the dangerous places on the planet right now. I could die at any minute. Another huge quake is supposedly coming...

I was just trying to tell you that we should all remain positive about this, you don't know what it's like to be here, and you are wrong to be so negative towards everything. I would like to remain positive because I have hope that things are fine and will continue to get better.

You are free to call me whatever you like, but I won't return the favor.

Have a good one man. I hope you are having better luck than me... and no hard feelings.

Detox.enD 03-14-2011 08:52

why is golbez so dumb?

Esteban_Villa 03-14-2011 08:52

TPK another big earthquake is not supposedly coming, no one can predict earthquakes so maybe it will maybe it won't but not one can call that.
