I don't know how Notch stays sane. Even after taxes and profit sharing among the small employee pool that's a huge amount of money for one person.

Edit: Eurogamer pegs total sales at 9.2M between the various versions. Which in laymen terms is a metric ****ton.

7 million sold. That's 4 million copies (80 million Euros!) in a hair over a year.

3 months later and another million copies have been sold. They're up to 8 million copies now, and that's just the PC version.

I would play it quite a bit if tekkit was on it. I got my own server that im on a lot screwing around in.

I haven't been playing lately due to all the other games right now (aka GW2).

That and I've got builder's block...

It's official: Minecraft prints money.

Dec 25th sales alone were 453K copies (across all platforms).

Meanwhile total sales have reached at least 17.6mil copies. 5mil for Pocket Edition, 8.63mil for the standard edition, and at least 5mil for the Xbox version. That's a net increase of 8mil copies (86%) in the last 6 months.:o:

When's the last time a PC game sold 10 million copies? Because in the next few months that's happening.
