"Trump says women who have abortions should be punished"

and

"Trump says that if abortion were declared illegal or banned, then women who have abortions should be punished"

Irrelevant to the question of if it was misleading like MasterGnr said it was.

MSNBC, Huffpo, NBC/CBS/ABC - they all go with the headline that supports making Trump look bad, and do not make an effort to provide the rest of the story.

The drones find it easier to let others do the research and fact finding for them. Jon Stewart's fans (and now John Oliver's) take what they report at face value and do not research it. I suppose you could accept that news and move on with no real damage but if you are making decisions based on those stories...or making an internet post inferring that the comment (mine in this case) was incorrect, you might want to be well informed first.
