An honest media. They've spent 8 years giving Obama the biggest pass I've ever witnessed in my lifetime. They were never honest about him, the lack of transparency, the constant war, the doubling of the debt, etc. Now the pendulum is swinging as far as possible into the ludicrous. When did the media stop doing it's job? When did it radically lose focus and a grasp of reality?

Hold Trump accountable for actual, factual, decisions. Don't invent wild fantasy to push because it suits a preconceived narrative.

What can any president elect do before inauguration? In fact, I would argue Obama did less than Trump as the president elect, which is suggesting he in fact did more by not doing so.

For example, one thing he didn't do is take to social media and berate anyone who criticised him like a petulant child.

I've seen some honest reporting coming out and when it does people shut it down as fake news, or liberal bias. For example, it's now accepted that Russia influenced the election, Trump himself has finally admitted as much ... yet prior to that moment trumpeters berated MSM as being fake, liberally biased, witch hunting, etc ...

How should the media prove its honesty, when that honesty may not fit the desired narrative?

This is happening already (Russia's influence on the election for example) yet it's quite clear that even factual reporting, ethical journalism isn't respected when the news presented doesn't fit the narrative.

That's not even getting to his rivalry with Trump in which he has been every bit as petulant, but in which he gets a pass from the media and people like yourself because your bias justifies it in your eyes.
