I never had any illusions about who Trump is. I know capitalism is ****, the people at the top (who really practice it: you don't practice it, you dope) are therefore really **** people. I still support Trump, but not for the reasons the True Believers do. I believe that he will really **** up America. His tax cuts alone (assuming he follows through on any of his campaign promises, not entirely clear, he's already flip flopped on most of them) will gut the budget. 15% flat tax? For giant multinationals? Crazy talk, but entirely expected from someone who is basically from everything we can see selling administration positions to his top donators. I'll admit that I had a slight tingle of hope that he'd turned a new leaf in his old age and wouldn't be a total piece of ****, but it isn't looking very good on that front. He's going to loot, and it will be unpresidented.

I think if you're a Trump voter & a True Believer, you really need to look at how this guy treated the Carrier people. He lied about saving 1100 jobs, and when the union guy (um, the guy who represents the workers, speaks for them) pointed out that it was only ~700 and even those are questionable, what did Trump do? He immediately pounced on the workers and called them lazy ****s who themselves caused the jobs to go to Mexico to start with. That's who Trump is: if you are buddy buddy with him, he'll give you his expensive smile. If you say anything, anything even slightly negative about Trump, you're going on his **** list and he will try to destroy you. That's how sick narcissists operate. There's no middle ground with these folks.

He doesn't support workers. He doesn't think there should even be a minimum wage! And if you don't think that's so important, his Labor Secretary doesn't think so either and has fought all worker initiatives for better pay. It's actually possible his administration will try to write minimum wage off the books! Carl Icahn, his special advisor, is going to attempt to get as many business regulations off the books as he can. Icahn's not getting paid anything, but his stock value jumped $500 million the day his advisory position was announced, so he's definitely getting paid. Trump is a god damn disaster for America, and it is my hope that his numerous ****ups will force America to reduce, if not eliminate its global occupation forces from especially Germany. Trump's plans will bankrupt the American workers and their government, but enrich the super rich multinational corporations.

As a National-Socialist, I know my beliefs and I stick by them. They've been proven to provide the most even and best quality of life for members of a nation state. If you think capitalism is great, that's wonderful. Buckle in for the next 4 years, you're going to get a megadose of it. If you thought big business had too much influence in the United States before, wait until you get a load of this. The real age of corporate ownership of America has just begun.

I make more money than you. You just don't understand how much the capitalists have ****ed the workers, especially since the fall of the USSR after which they had nothing to fear. People today earn roughly the same amount as they did in 1971. There's been a ****load of wealth added to the system, but workers don't see any of that.

Large corporations represent 27.2 trillion in revenue, or 81% of all business revenue in the US. If true change is to occur, it must occur there.

Trump has been running on a campaign of a broken system where the wealthy/corporations benefit the most from lobbyists and tax loop holes.

Your graphs depicting, in large part, a ****ed up system are case in point, absent.

Let's get this **** on the right track. You with me? ;)

Of course not, but had to try....

There are 10's of millions that are NOT content. And of those that are, as you say, 'content' - I would say they feel there really is no choice. They must enjoy their TV dinner, their cheap thrills and 1% pay increases YoY.

That's change we can believe in, amirite?

I'm highly triggered by the fact that you're comparing

You are a rather reasonable person. So unlike absent you are worth commenting back to.

Capitalism is nothing more than the ability to freely trade goods and/or services without some third party trying to intervene.

I don't see how anyone can see that as a bad thing.

This is what the opposite of that looks like. What absent actually promotes as the solution to our problems.

Yeah we are at an interesting crossroads.

Seeing the guys in Africa with roadside businesses with little regulation made me a bit envious...just selling **** they have to sell without having to do 100 hrs of paperwork taking their time and money.

The arguments against things like air bnb and uber...'well you don't know who they are' is the nanny state induced fear that curtails people whow have extra from maximizing their income potential. In the 1800s you would jump on a wagon going places with a fare or stay at someone's place for a half dollar and probably get a nice breakfast. Of course if you offered someone staying at your place food now there would be cries of 'how was the food prepared? Was is it safe?'

Economists have noted we are heading towards more of a 'gig' economy and that's not a bad thing. It creates more well rounded individuals rather than 'wage slaves' who specialize much like insects do. Maybe the town isn't big enough for a carpenter but having someone who sells his skills freely and openly on a minor scale shouldn't have to worry about the IRS butt ****ing him for not sending half of it back for withholding and the like.

The trend away from cash is indicative of it as the government can't verify that like a bank. Of course then you have the fear mongerers holding up terrorists as the reason everything should be digital.

Forge your own destiny and not be fearful of anything except your own inability to produce. That fear shouldn't come from an overly complex system of exchanging goods and services, but should rather stem from your ability to perform.

Also: ***8220;For food safety,***8221; reports a Canadian news service, ***8220;the trucks chosen will have to be associated with an already established restaurant.***8221;
oh the beauty of a planned economy.....by the very people who laugh at trickle down economics comes those who hate free markets and beg faggy lords for their cake and bread crumbs. supplicating serfdom much better than free choice by free markets they will scream.

this is where absent, in true alt-left commie fashion, will point to the central banking cartels. that they too are indicative of capitalism and the failure of free markets.

because nothing is more free than a congregation of jewish run private bank cartels centrally planning every facet of our economy and currency.

0% interest rates. Negative interest rates.

Clearly the product of laissez faire not market intervention and meddling

Most of us see the real cancer causing carcinogen.....whereas absent wishes to nationalize everything we have left and give it to these same exact people.

Quote:

I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs.

$ociali$m is for stupid people.

Whether you like it or not, there will always be winners and losers. And if you are stupid enough to think there aren't winners and losers in socialism, you're a ****ing idiot who deserves the gruel you will be fed... while the top of the socialist food chain eats steak and lobster.

The best option in life is a capitalist system, period. Not crony capitalism either, so don't let left wing douche-bags (they dont have your best interests at heart, they have theirs and they want power in order to dictate to you and control your life) try to con you otherwise. Anyway, crony capitalism is a form of socialism -control of the gvt, which is control of the people and the economic system, and only degrades from there. It begets more gvt intrusion that incrementally chips away at your freedoms and liberties while preserving the power of the political class and their financial backers.

As long as your individual Rights are preserved, Capitalism affords you the opportunity to be the master of your own destiny and the freedom to help the less fortunate as you see fit (and is your Right) instead of being forced to do so by the barrel of a gun and imprisonment. The natural world is the survival of the fittest, so get a grip. Your best bet is to make the most of your abilities and capitalize on them. And if you can help our your fellow man, then do so. But you should never be forced to do something against your will.

Real world Trickle Down economics is socialism. It trickles down from those in charge and you get... the crumbs that might be left. Dont forget to thank them for it or you wont get anymore... or go to prison for your 'crimes'.
