Here's a map that shows the final. See all that blue? Those are the gimmie my free stuff people who sponge in major cities. Look at Colorado for crying out loud. Only a few areas are blue, yet the population in those areas is huge (Denver), just like south Florida (Miami). https://static01.nyt.com/newsgraphic...slide-2-hp.png |

The CNN exit polls are interesting. Trump won Catholics by 7%, he actually lost first time voters, but voters broke hard towards him in Oct up until election day. Obamacare may have been a big win for Trump. Also looks like people wanted more conservative policies in government.
Trump doesn't have the temperament and isn't qualified to be President according to the exit polls. Looks like it was a D+4 sample this year. The polls using D+7 to D+10 would have been off. |

The head-scratching thing with all of this is that Trump has run on (and been elected for) a purely internal, domestic issues campaign. The office of the President is much more a figurehead and representative of the USA on the international stage... and on that stage, Trump is absolutely unqualified and has glaring weaknesses.
He's been elected to a role with duties he likely won't be very good at, based on a platform he'll likely struggle to enact. You guys have made an odd choice, there. It'll be fun to watch, at any rate. |

Thank you for a foreign interpretation of what our President represents. ;)

Obama had a ton of foreign policy experience, and he did great! |
I was at the Barber shop this morning getting a cut and overheard a ton of conversations by a really diverse cross section of people all saying the same thing.
One of the main reason they voted for Trump was hes Politically incorrect and unapologetic for what he believes and what he stands for. And they would rather be told the harsh truth rather than hear meaningless platitudes by Washington suits pandering for votes. Another thing i heard a lot about was how the media and younger generations are vastly out of touch with the realities of the world and challenges we face. |

God I am so sick and tired of people referring to the candidate they do not like as Hitler. I guess if either side keeps saying it they might be right eventually.

just out of curiosity - since i don't understand american politics
about 59 mil votes for each candidate - that's ~ 120mil votes don't u guys have like 320 million people? at about 1/3 of the population, that seems like an unusually low voter turnout |
Damn Raegan and his aids. He should have used a condom.
