Another thing to look out for in NC is rep legislature's closed down a lot of early voting stations in dem-heavy neighborhoods to suppress the vote. Greensboro went from 16 polling stations to 1 for example, so early voting is down 85% from where it was in 2012. Those people showing up on election day will be key

Whether or not that alters the final result is yet to be seen, but with the way the Democrats are campaigning, it's pretty clear they are concerned about the black turnout. I mean they're sending Obama which frankly is Hillary's best weapon in this race to Michigan, a state that hasn't been red since 1988.

Both Michigan and Pennsylvania are perfect examples of states that have a lot of blue collar (likely Trump) voters that could tip the scale of those states if the black turnout is low.

Either way, I think we could see this coming down to a couple states that we don't normally consider to be "swing states", so it should be interesting at the very least.

How are Republican legislators shutting down Democrat heavy polling stations? I'm genuinely curious. I mean you'd think Democrat heavy voting locations wouldn't have Republican legislators.

early voting schedules are made by each county's 3 member board of elections. since NC has a rep gov each board will have 2 rep members and 1 dem member
