JoMo 03-17-2011 11:42

Latest NISA report is that the rods are only partially covered with water. Also, that odd report on the containment vessel of #2 as being 75 kpa.

More disconcerting is the fact that there are no measurements for any of the pool temperatures. Equipment knocked out? Malfunctioning?

Flyersfan 03-17-2011 11:59

Lmao I watched those water drops

If any water actually got into the pools at all I will **** a robot

It's either knocked out, out of batteries, not being reported or malfunctioning.

High radiation found outside Fukushima exclusion zone - NYPOST.com

High radiation levels have been detected 18.6 miles (30 kilometers) from the plant, beyond the 12.4-mile (20-kilometer) zone designated by authorities, broadcaster NHK reported.

Japan's science ministry said exposure to the levels detected for a period of six hours would be the equivalent of the maximum safe level a person could absorb in a year.

Even then I'm guessing that there's a chance that the cooling systems are fried/broken/etc anyway?
