He's got the mainstream news articles.

Alex Jones is a fat jewboy and controlled opposition. He channels people who are tired of **** lies into idiotic conspiracy theories like UFOs and HAARP weapons and other garbage.

Tantric Rex 03-16-2011 10:25

where do you get your news from absent?

Tell us where we can get real news thats not diluted from the viewpoints of kikes and ******s.

Zombie 03-16-2011 10:26

earthquake weapon?

Even if we did have an earthquake weapon, why would we attack our Japanese friends?

Zombie 03-16-2011 10:28

No MOX in #4. According to TEPCO #3 was fueled with MOX in October 2010. The only other reactors in Japan using MOX are Kyushu Electric's Genkai plant and Shikoko Electric's Ikata plant.

so the new world order can depopulate the planet, duh

Got Haggis? 03-16-2011 10:37

what is MOX

Ztir 03-16-2011 10:38

you can't trust anything from Japanese people when it's in regards to something that will bring dishonor/shame

the Japanese were shocked when they heard their emperor on the radio telling them japan surrendered, because they had been told everything was honky dory by officials

I'm a big fan of japan but if you think that their press releases on anything that would make them look bad are accurate untill they come out and say how ****ed it really really is, you're dumb

I'd wager it's been pretty hopeless all along and they've been trying to fix it themselves until it's absolutely nescesary to get outside help to not look bad

Fox k 03-16-2011 10:38

If there was an earthquake weapon, it would be pointed at china and set to auto.

MOX fuel - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mixed oxide, or MOX fuel, is nuclear fuel containing more than one oxide of fissile or fertile materials. Specifically, it usually refers to a blend of oxides of plutonium and natural uranium, reprocessed uranium, or depleted uranium (eg 7% Pu, 93% U) which behaves similarly (though not identically) to the low-enriched uranium oxide fuel for which most nuclear reactors were designed. MOX fuel is an alternative to low enriched uranium (LEU) fuel used in the light water reactors that predominate nuclear power generation.

It's good news.

TOKYO (Reuters) – Japan's nuclear crisis appeared to be spinning out of control on Wednesday after workers withdrew briefly from a stricken power plant because of surging radiation levels and a helicopter failed to drop water on the most troubled reactor.

In a sign of desperation, the police will try to cool spent nuclear fuel at one of the facility's reactors with water cannon, which is normally used to quell riots.
Early in the day another fire broke out at the earthquake-crippled facility, which has sent low levels of radiation wafting into Tokyo in the past 24 hours, triggering fear in the capital and international alarm.

Japan's government said radiation levels outside the plant's gates were stable but, in a sign of being overwhelmed, appealed to private companies to help deliver supplies to tens of thousands of people evacuated from around the complex.

"People would not be in immediate danger if they went outside with these levels. I want people to understand this," Chief Cabinet Secretary Yukio Edano told a televised news conference, referring to people living outside a 30 km (18 miles) exclusion zone. Some 140,000 people inside the zone have been told to stay indoors.

Workers were trying to clear debris to build a road so fire trucks could reach reactor No. 4 at the Daiichi complex in Fukushima, 240 km (150 miles) north of Tokyo. Flames were no longer visible at the building housing the reactor.
High radiation levels prevented a helicopter from flying to the site to drop water into the No. 3 reactor -- whose roof was damaged by an earlier explosion and where steam was seen rising earlier in the day -- to try to cool its fuel rods.

The plant operator described No. 3 as the "priority." No more information was available, but that reactor is the only one at Daiichi which uses plutonium in its fuel mix.

According to U.S. government research, plutonium is very toxic to humans and once absorbed in the bloodstream can linger for years in bone marrow or liver and can lead to cancer

The situation at No. 4 reactor, where the fire broke out, was "not so good," the plant operator added, while water was being poured into reactors No. 5 and 6, indicating the entire six-reactor facility was now at risk of overheating.

I bolded the parts that I wasn't aware of prior to reading the article.

Diablo Escobar 03-16-2011 12:18

so on gizmodo they've got an article about how that scientist who "wasn't worried" isn't actually a nuclear scientist at MIT and was likely talking out of his ass

i've been following this thread and the other the last few days where all of you decided you're smarter than the news and that this is being blown way out of proportion....does this change your view?

(for the record, i'm far too ignorant of this **** to come down on either side)

It was pretty obvious that was all ass talk when it was more than one paragraph

I think people who are not very smart get really impressed by (fake)credentials and throw common sense away.

His father was some kind of nuke researcher! Who could give a **** about that honestly.

JoMo 03-16-2011 12:51

Russia is evacuating diplomatic families tomorrow I believe. French say Japan is covering up that they've lost control. And the EU energy chief says there is possibly a catastrophic event in the next few hours.

The helicopters had to turn back due to radiation levels being too high to dump water on the reactors.

Flyersfan 03-16-2011 13:03

I think for the west coast, no one will get sick obviously. Cancer rates are going to increase by 1 or 2 percent. There is a system coming here on Tuesday, so the first particles that escaped will be mixed in there. It will get into the groundwater. Animals eat or drink that, and then we eat the animals. Or we drink it ourselfs. Or we drink the animals blood. If you are into that kind of stuff. No judgement.

From what I understand these particles that are most dangerous can not penetrate your skin. Some old people will probably die. And some unborns. Now is probably a bad time to get preggers.

Now that its weather related this is my area of expertise so all overnight nuclear experts can suck on dicks with all of their wrong ass-talk.

will the weather system bring mutant ninja turtles?

Pentagon says US Forces must stay 50 miles away from reactor.

TEPCO news conference going on but they are of course being vague and giving conflicting information, and saying they aren't sure.

Kerosene31 03-16-2011 13:12

Flyers fans want everyone to mutate just so they look more normal.

Flyersfan 03-16-2011 13:12

From the way they have been acting this whole time its obvious it was bad and they knew it, but didn't want to cause panic. They probably wrote off a certain area right away and tried to save as many as the others as they could. That's basic battlefield triage.

radioactive burnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!

telos 03-16-2011 13:13

Stupid media. Company is going to reroute me so instead of 23 hours to singapore it will take closer to 40. FML, I'd rather "risk" the radiation on the 1 hour layover i was supposed to have in tokyo.

Flyersfan 03-16-2011 13:15

In the end, all of this will be blamed on a robot, and that will be the final straw.

The robot wars have begun.

Choose sides carefully.

But not too carefully. It could be viewed as methodical, calculated. Robotic.

I am not a robot.
