Ukraine’s capital Kyiv was bombed during the night and at least one Russian aircraft was shot down. A Ukrainian pilot, Ghost of Kyiv, in a Mig-29 supposedly shot down six Russian aircraft in a dogfight. According to Ukrainian defence forces yesterday’s (not including tonight’s) Russian losses were 30+ tanks, 130 combat vehicles, six helicopters and seven aircraft. Human losses were 800 men, 200 of which belonging to VDV at the battle of Hostomel air base which was retaken by Ukrainian forces supported by SU-25 and Mig-29.
