Who thinks this trilogy is going to topple Star Wars as like the biggest movie phenomonon? I think it should be. Tolkien is so much of a better author than Lucas.

Jar Jar most unfortunately is in both the movie and the trailer.

Concerning LoTR, I'm beginning to think you may be right. The star wars franchise is heading to the ****ter. Hope to see some great movies from this trilogy.

As a longtime Tolkein fan I'd love to see it. But I don't want to be associated with some of the nutjob fans that Star Wars boasts.

Lets not make it out to be anything more than the books and movies. But you know marketing will just cause a storm of crap surrounding its release.

I don't want to see action figures, posters, comics or any of that crap. Just a great movie made out of some of the best books ever.

Jar Jar is in episode 2 .. I hope he plays the role of someone dying a horrible death. :(

As long as he dies a horrible death it should be ok.

if the reviews are any indication, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's/Philosopher's Stone will rule, big time.

If LOTR is big as well (aren't they also making it in england?), the English will have owned the americans big time.
