the importance of the comma

People want to get rid of apostrophes and commas. It is too difficult to understand...

We no longer believe that people should be educated and taught to do things that are difficult. That's not fair or nice. Now we want to devolve the language.
 
The English standards now have the first one as correct. About a year ago it was the second one.
 
i love commas so much. i used them too much until my english teacher taught me how to use semicolons.

now i use semicolons appropriately but too often for such a niche punctuation mark.
 
THIS IS THE INTERNET WE DONT NEED ANY COMMAS TO BREAK UP OUR WELL THOUGHT OUT REASONABLE COOL IDEAS DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO STOP TYPING IN CAPS MY KEYBROAD HAS BEEN LIKE THIS SINCE TWO FRIDAYS AGO?
