wotlk and daily quests

what are happening with current daily quests come the expansion? just grant the ~11g per quest or give small amount of gold and give you exp? something new??
 
im sure theyll keep everything the same. i doubt theyll offer xp beyond the first run of each quest.

you have to keep in mind that bliz has to cater to the nonwotlk jews.


im actually curious how theyll handle the few people who have wotlk but not bc.

unless you've read something different, BC should be a prerequisite to installing WotLK.

and they'll keep the daily quests, just won't give any xp. Just like the repeatable rep quests only give you xp the first time you turn them in.
 
Dailies are handled by giving XP and gold depending on level.

Just so happens the large gold sum you get at 70 is mostly the XP conversion.

When they enable leveling past 70, the conversion stops and it goes back to the gold + XP scenario (example: Sunfury Attack Plans - Quest - World of Warcraft).

You won't get that much more gold than the 5g at 80 (level 80 solo dailies give 13g23s).

take a look at the pvp brackets.

60-69, 70.

after lk, itl be 60-69, 70-79 (or 70-80, idk.)

Either way, anyone who wants to pvp with just the last expansion is getting royally fucked
