Radeon 9800 Pro problem

Okay, recently I have gotten texture fuck ups in games like T:V, HL2, and Sims 2. I recently did a full NTFS format and reinstalled brand new drivers and started off fresh. Now the problem is worse, and the games skip as if they are trying to load textures at some points. Is this certain that my video card is gone? I can just get another one, but I am all out of ideas. I dont want to go off and spend money on a card and not it be the problem. Thanks guys <3 all around

Open your case, put a house fan or whatever next to your PC blowing on it on High and see if you still have problems.

Update your drivers for your video card. Borrow some ones video card and see if you still have problems.

After that, make sure to install spinners on your Caddy as well.

No seriously, that may work (I did it on my linux machine for awhile actually and yes, I felt ghetto) but I say just pony up and get a new video card.
