Wait, so Ahmad Chalabi could be the next Prime Minister of Iraq?

The people of Iraq won't vote for him, they do not like him, and neither do the Jordanians. THey probably wouldn't deal with Iraq if he was elected. The guy is a liar and a theif.

What the hell are you talking about? The people of Iraq voted for the assembly and now the assembly picks the president, two vice presidents, and then the prime minister is chosen. Ahmad Chalabi is on the short-list of two. That means there's a very, very high chance that, if not prime minister, he'll at least be Vice-President of Iraq.

As for those links to Iran, come on, they're not true.

have you read ANYTHING about this guy? Even the US administration cut ties with him cause he is scum. Yet you still support him? Pathetic.

I'm sure you know of the ongoing struggle between the CIA and the Pentagon and the like.

The CIA arrested him with "rock-solid proof" that has yet to come out. Throughout this ordeal, the CIA has tried to discredit him. I have yet to see any evidence suggesting that he is guilty of anything.

US's ties (or lack of) with people are frequently meaningless. They jump in bed with whe over they like half the time, good or bad. Better of late somewhat, but maybe it a matter of what we don't know.
