Yea, I guess we've all had to play with them.

Tanking for the party, trying to fight a high level mob for a quest, and somebody sees a little alliance guy running in the distance. And they HAVE to run off and kill the alliance guy while I'm looking at 3 mobs with no one to back me up or heal.

Or seeing 5 players go full on into a group of 20 enemy players.

I actually thought the stupidity would level off as I reached level 30 and beyond, but apparently I was sadly mistaken.

I'm sure we all have stories about this...

I had a guy in the group attack sheep right after our mage would make them that way. Being the priest I saw this happen like 4 or 5 times and finally asked the guy why he was doing that instead of hitting the guy everyone else was fighting. He said he thought he did more damage when hitting the monster when it was a sheep. :banging:

Was in a WC group and as i was taking getting my ass kicked by 2 raptors i turn around to see the priest of the group FISHING!

It goes the other way as well. I love it when there is a lull (mana/health break) and so forth, and you go to gather something. Meanwhile the tank has decided now would be a good time to pull that named elite.

It's been my experince that the overwhelming majority of WoW players have no fucking clue how to play an MMO. I've become very wary of who i will group with, let alone invite to an instance or elite quest.

Me and a buddy always level together (30 rogues). We had to do a quest in hillsbrad so we grabbed another friend (30 rogue) and started in on it. A level 32 hunters walks up and asks to join, sure why the hell not i think.

This MORON, would send her pet after everything. The stupid thing would pull 5 or 6 mobs back to momma with it. Then she would sit around and loot the bodies as we died. Lets just say that group finished quick. /ignore

Since I'm now the high level priest of the group, I spend almost all my time in instances. If I do need a group, I have no problems leaving right away when ass hats show up. The worst I saw was when I partnered with a Druid. First thing he says is "good a healer, I'll tank". I'm thinking: "shit". First thing he does is aggros 4 guys which he can't taunt or tank for shit. I died and promptly /ignored.

Thats why I play EQ2, more mature players. It does have its fill of impatient people, but generally people are ok.

This is why I maintain a strict policy of antisocialism in WoW. I only group with people I know from TW or I know from other groups of e-homies.

This is also a good policy because I'm not that experienced at MMOs either, and allows me to learn what to do vs. what not to do from the people I group with without fear of e-humiliation.

Had something similar happen in WC also. We were rolling through. We got in a battle with a few mobs. I was the highest lvl in the group and dishing out the most damage, I get aggro on me and in the background I hear "CLank, CLank, CLank" and see our warrior is off mining. Neadless to say I died. On the way back to res myself, hes asks "What happened to Ramzes."

I was doing a quest with guys and I'm a priest, we're right at the end and i've got 2 lvl 11's on me and i'm lvl 8, and they go running into like 5 other guys.

So I died and didnt get the quest cause they all immediatly left it, and theres no way i can solo it.
