Is there a version of the ActorX plugin for Maya PLE 6.0? The standard ActorX plugin on udn.epicgames.com doesn't work. My guess is that it would work for the full version of Maya, but not the PLE (Personal Learning Edition - i.e. free version).
I wanted to export some meshes for use in TVEd, but the plugin wont load as it says it is for a different version of Maya. On another note, does anyone use other modelling programs and then convert the mesh to a .ase file? I use trueSpace the most (I find it far easier than Maya), but it does not export .ase files. Does anyone know of a decent converter that can convert .cob to .ase for use in TVEd - preferably one that does a decent job converting the mesh without screwing it up too bad?
