that just means all the people voting for kerry were actually out voting.... or the radio station you were listening to is heavily republican

Nobody is going to report who is in the lead because in the middle of the day that doesn't mean shit. A certian type of voter votes during the day and a certian type votes during the evening, and both types trend one way or another.
