Yah, my teammates are dumb and don't start their demos sometime. During the countdown just this huge text saying "Start your demo dumbass". Was one for T2, and I think I remembered one for T1.

In program/bin/user.ini bind the following to key of your choice, T2 example:

start record:
F2=demorec

stop record:
F3=stopdemo

You just need to rename it afterwards. I'm not sure you can name on the fly like is possible when you enter the command into the console if you have static binds.

No, it's saved as something like 'demo0001', 'demo0002' and so on, so they won't overwrte each other.

Um, thats your T2 example, now how do we get it to work for TV? Whats the demo start/stop command in TV?

those commands work in TV dude. just bind them to whatever key you like

Anybody know if there's a way to force a screen notice that your demo has stopped/started? These shortcut keys work great but it would be comforting to get an on-screen message to be sure you've started/stopped your demo.
