Chris Mahnken - We talked with over 20 different developers when we were searching for a team to make Vengeance. We slowly whittled our list down to one very big name developer and two smaller developers and started working with them. They all turned in design docs and we went thru a round of revision and it became obvious that none of them got it.

It would be interesting to see what some of those were... you know, a little extra added into the collectors edition version of the game.
 
that would be funny to see some of the other design docs

EA Games - "1. Drastically slash all of this "jetting" stuff, much to hard. Add lots of vehicles to compensate."

Epic - "4. 10 weapons, 3 hitscan, 5 instakill, 2 beam-attachment weapons."

Ubisoft: "Let's make it so the user has to mail in a finger nail clipping for DNA sampling everytime they want to load the game so we can combat piracy."

3D Realms: Lets say we're working on the game but never actually release it. Let's also rename the game to Tribes: Forever
 
SOE: Let's make it into an MMORPG, make bug testing a low priority, remove skiing and make weapons really easy to aim and fire!
