News: SS:2845 Update!

The guys at <a href="http://www.starsiege2845.com">SS:2845.com</a> released some <a href="http://starsiege2845.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=3362&st=0&#entry35302">new info</a> on their total conversion mod for Tribes Vengeance.
<blockquote class=p>We have just released a new public update. In this release, you will find links to 4 new tunes and a wealth of pictures, including the introduction of an all new playable vehicle. There are also 3 new wallpapers for your desktop enjoyment.

ok if you haven't already, listen to the new soundtracks, ESPECIALLY Infection 2.0

To me music makes the game, and this mod is going to rock so terribly hard
 
While the dreadlock was fun-- there was little point in wasting PBWs on it when you could have two MFACs. Now MFACs were and interesting and challenging thing to use--especially on a tank.

The predator, and even the avenger, were faster and deadlier with dual PBWs. I always thought that the dreadlock's treads were pretty easy to damage. And the thing had no stealth whatsoever.

you could make them invisible to radar (and to the eye)

i was the best at flag capping, my invisible seeker, i one sat right behind a guy in their base shut down, he had no idea i was there until i had their flag and was turbo boosting outta there
