Manhunt 2 hacked: AO content found in PSP version

Submitted by: NecroSen @ 01:15 PM | Friday, November 2, 2007 | (url: http://gamepoliti...)

Since late yesterday GamePolitics has been following a rumor that hackers had discovered a means to reveal the original, unedited content of Manhunt 2.

Now we've had confirmation from a Take Two representative that its not a rumor.

It's true.

In other words, the apparent hack made visible some - but apparently far from all - of the content found in the version of the game rated Adults Only by the ESRB.

Following the confirmation, the Parents Television Council and California state senator Leland Yee are among the first to call on the ESRB to have Manhunt 2's M rating changed back to AO, similar to the Hot Coffee Mod incident with GTA: San Andreas.

Slimmer, lighter and with a decent D-pad. The redesign is long overdue and slightly underdone.

Included are some pictures, if a bit blurred. With Final Fantasy Tactics revamped and being released for the PSP, if you were considering buying one I believe you should hold out for this.

PS2 controller frankengrafted to PSP

Submitted by: Xionic @ 03:06 AM | Monday, March 5, 2007 | (url: http://www.engadg...)

A user by the name of F00 f00 has managed to successfully graft a full size PlayStation 2 controller -- not that junk-ass rumble-free PS3 affair -- to the rear end of his PSP. Homebrew and emulation will certainly benefit from the addition, but it's pretty clear that any PSP so heavily jacked into and expanded upon would be best suited for showing off on forums where cred and props far outweigh everyday usefulness.

XCM PSP *Chrome* Face Plate Review

Submitted by: unbri @ 09:32 PM | Wednesday, February 14, 2007 | (url: http://www.mypspo...)

The chrome faceplate really brings out the true colors of my PSP. Everyone wants their PSP to be unique and although your PSP can be unique with different homebrew goodies, you have to remember that at first glance people only see the outside of your PSP. Why not pimp that out too? XCM PSP *CHROME* FACE PLATE

German Amazon requires PSP and game purchase for people who want a PS3

Without Germany, my career at Destructoid would be so dull.

If it wasn't for their crazy legislation regarding games or their amazingly bad film maker du jour, I'd be known as "that hipster who craps on people's musical tastes and espouses the benefits of an all-bear government". Thank you Germany, for turning me into the Elijah Lovejoy of the gaming world.
