Turrets came in five variations:
- Plasma Turrets - Base or static turrets, required power to be operational. Shot relatively fast moving and accurate blue plasma projectiles at incoming enemy players.
- Rocket Turrets - Base or static turrets, required power to be operational. Shot fast moving and extremely accurate rockets at enemy players and vehicles - heat seeking and locked onto players using their energy to fly. Vehicles were generally fucked. Abbreviated by most players as RT.
- ELF Turrets - Base or static turrets, required power to be operational. Quickly drained all the energy from enemy players who came within the turrets relatively short range.
- Mortar Turrets - Base or static turrets, required power to be operational and had to be manually fired from a command center. Were generally not used.
- Remote Turrets - Deployed, had a short range and were easily destroyed, but did not require power to operate. Rapidly fired extremely accurate and fast moving small plasma projectiles. Were the only deployable turrets in base ctf competition.
