Often referred to as S3, was founded by ScooBySnaCk and Datura. S3 originally started out as a Quake 1 Team Fortress Clan doing top 10 in OGL as well. When the team went to Tribes 1 only a few players could make the change but are still always remembered as the South Side Stoners. Throughout the duration of Tribes 1, S3 was always one of the top teams and often their name was thrown around with the Imperial Elite and 5150 for the title of top tribe of all time - although most would say they were the weaker team of the three.
On the other hand, Rasta coined the phrase "vab nothing left to prove" after S3 announced their retirement, following wins against both Imperial Elite and 5150 on the same day.
After S3's retirement, many of its original members went to form Vanguard.
S3 was also famously known for using servers favorable to them (as some members were LANned to certain servers), leading to S3's light defenders Farm and Handiman being famously known as chainwhores. These things, along with early team members being known for speaking out of turn on the forums, led to a somewhat negative image.
Ellicott 5 and Fuck the Mainland were "pseudo-sibling teams" to S3 due to their common interests.
