Photoshop of the Year

Beginning in 2004, all of the top 3 finishers from the weekly This Week in Pictures Photoshop threads were given the opportunity to compete against one another to discover which picture would be considered the Tribalwar Photoshop of the Year. Often the debate rages even after the votes are cast, though only one of the final votes has been close. The Artists who have won represent some of the finest Photoshoppers on Tribalwar. Many of the top finishers have also made their mark on the Internet, most notably Musashi with his Howard Dean kitten strangulation Photoshop and Bounty with his Vader Beggar Photoshop.

Trivia (out-of-date)
- Bounty "Final Solution" was the only finalist (and eventual winner) to originally be a 2nd place finisher in it's The Week in Pictures thread. Every other finalist was originally a 1st place finisher.
- Four Artists have now swept a The Week in Pictures thread. triple, Brasstax, Bluntzman and samuelk
- Bounty made it to the Finals every year until 2007
- samuelk dominated 2007, contributing 21 out of 109 entries in the Photoshop of the Year thread and eventually taking first place.
