The first post ever on TribalWar, dated December 7, 1999:

Welcome to the Tribal War Bulletin Board (powered of course by UBB).

Here you will be able to stay in touch with the tribes community, and hopefully take some pressure off the OGL CTF board, so the OGL site can stay up more often

This BB is broken down into three sections, this one; General Tribes, is exactly that - Anything and everything tribes; Tribes Demos, for discussion about Tribal War's increasingly popular Demos section; and Tribes Scripting & Modifying, where I, and hopefully others will do Q&A about things like scripting, coding, moddelling, mapping, skinning, etc.

If you think we've left something out, suggest it! You never know, we may just add it (especially likely if we get the same request often) A few basic rules, No Spamming, Nothing trully offensive (if you even have to think about it, its probably crossing the line), and please try and restrain yourselves in regards to language, as this forum isn't censored, and we would prefer not to have to censor it. Lastly, have fun (how much fun can you have typing and reading?...oh well have fun anyways Ratorasniki
