Bad_CRC is a long time Tribalwar forum user who is perhaps most well known for his flash animation that consists of a montage of pictures created during the All Your Base Are Belong To Us Internet fad in 2000. Although the All Your Base fad had been around before Bad_CRC's flash animation, the animation brought the fad out of the darker corners of the Internet and into mainstream Internet culture.

Bad_CRC is also well known for his flash signature, which features a collection of small arcade style games, complete with a high score database. This signature was quite popular before all flash animations were banned from the forum, and the popularity of his signature is likely what prevented the admins from disabling flash for so long when it was being heavily abused. Although flash is allowed again for some users, including Bad_CRC, his signature has never regained the popularity that it once had.

Bad_CRC is also known for his political posts. Bad_CRC was once of the forum's most vocal liberal members. This earned him some fans but many more detractors, particularly since he was most active in the days when Tribalwar was heavily conservative.
