Hulu Streams up 490 %

t appears that ABC made a wise choice when it decided to put its content on Hulu. Total streams on the video site increased 490 percent year-over-year, according to Thursday data from Nielsen.
Hulu recorded 373.3 million video streams in April 2009, up from 63.2 million in April 2008.
Google-owned YouTube was still at the top, with about 5.5 billion streams last month. That is an increase of 35.5 percent from last year.

everytime I click on a vid on hulu or jewtube, it tells me 'This video is not available in your country' and hotspot shield is slower than the second coming of christ. Ovguide and pirate linking sites ftw
It's owned by the major networks. The ads are a bitch and they've disallowed the use of AdBlock. I guess they see the point, but still want to push theirs. Lame.
Hulu needs more content. The movies are mostly shit, and they dont retain tv episodes that long.
hulu sucks because they dont have complete seasons for whatever reason... otherwise i wouldnt bother torrenting everything :p:
It's just another tool. There can't be one place to get all content. I'm sure the people at the top of Hulu would love to see this thread.

many of youtubes hits probably come from dumb teenagers, and without any disposable income their parents would have to subscribe for them... which i know if i had a kid i'd be reluctant to subscribe to any video service for my child.
It's because Hulu is US only that I have to torrent shit. It's the network's own fault. Gay ass shit.

I did this with sg-1.... Hulu only has the first 5 seasons. There are 5 more after that and then Atlantis.
